7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Hilton Scranton. The North American Symposium on Bat Research is the organizer of this teacher workshop in conjunction with its annual meeting being held in Scranton. This workshop is provided each year as a community service to the city where NASBR meets. Educators will be assisted by live bats and museum specimens to meet bats up close and personal. This workshop is available for Act 48 hours through the Pennsylvania Game Commission and it will be aligned to the PA State Curriculum Standards.

($10 registration fee for area educators)

10:00 a.m. Going Batty: The World of Bats Through a Rehabilitator’s Eyes: Barbara Ogaard
10:45 a.m. Break and Visit to Speleobooks (vendor for batty stuff)
